Make a Joyful Noise!
Singers and musicians of all ages are welcome to participate in our services! Linda Dowlding and Eileen Swierczek oversee music ministry at COS and coordinate worship and music for all services. Within music ministry, Brad Moerke leads our church band and is our “sound guy” and Marion Jaskulski leads the Praise Raisers (our children’s choir) and also leads Sunday School music. Eileen and Linda work in tandem with them as they bring new and fresh ideas and music to our team.
Choir
Our choir is directed by Linda Dowlding, and rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM to around 8:15 PM. Choir is a very flexible group – if you like to sing, this is the group to join, whether you can read music or not! We sing at Sunday services twice a month, at additional special services at COS, and share our music outside of our church on occasion.
Children’s Music
The Praise Raisers and J.U.M.P! are our children’s music groups directed by Marion Jaskulski.

Band
Our band is directed by Brad Moerke, plays each Sunday at our 10:00 AM service, and rehearses each week on Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. The group consists of 1-2 singer/song leaders and instrumentalists playing piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Musicians participate as much as they are able. We lead the services with contemporary Christian music in both solo performance songs and congregational hymns. We particularly enjoy it when our young Praise Raisers occasionally join us on to sing praises to the Lord!
