Youth Ministries

We believe that the youth are not just the future of the church but ARE the church.

Our youth are active in all parts of the church: assisting in worship, leading service projects, and even mentoring younger students.

Every year we invite our students, middle schoolers (grades 6-8) and high schoolers (grades 9-12) to go on a service trip to places like Northern Minnesota, Chicago, West Virginia, or Nashville. We get to experience the work of the Lord in many different ways.

Our youth are not the church of tomorrow, but rather they are the church of today!  Through our various ministry opportunities at Christ Our Savior, young people are able to live out the gospel message every day.

Joint COS Youth and TACOS Fright Fest Outing

On October 12th, COS Youth will be joining TACOS on a day trip to Six Flags Great America for Fright Fest.  Fright Fest is a Halloween-oriented haunt event held annually at Six Flags theme parks.  It mainly features haunted attractions, themed areas named Scare Zones, and live entertainment.  If you are interested in attending, please sign up here and fill out a permission slip below.

We will need a minimum of 30 youth to attend in order to make this trip possible.  For all youth participants, the cost will be $50, which covers the cost of the ticket and transportation.  We ask that you make checks payable to COS Youth.  Participants will be asked to pack a sack lunch/dinner or bring money to purchase food.  We also ask that you dress appropriately for the weather.  The group will be meeting at COS at 9:30am to depart for the park and the will return around 9:00pm.  Invite any friends as well! The sign-up and payment deadline is September 29th.

Youth Permission Slips

In order to participate in any of our offsite events, all youth must have a permission slip completed by a parent or guardian.

Please contact Kim at with any questions.

This permission slip will also be used for TACOS activities.
