Sunrise on a High School Servant Trip
Everything we do is in response to the grace of God, not to win points or “earn our way to heaven.” ‘We love because God loved us first’ (1 John 4:19), but because God’s love is so great, there is a lot that we as a congregation do in response.
We think of the things that we do as falling into three categories, based on our mission statement:
- Gathered in Christ – We act as a community, making friends and worshipping together.
- Fed by God’s Word – We grow as disciples, grow in faith, and grow in our relationship with Jesus.
- Sent to Serve – We serve God by serving others, following the example of Jesus and giving of ourselves for the sake of all.
